Keolis Amey Manchester, in collaboration with TfGM and Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Trust, have been working together to deliver an educational programme to support front line Customer Service Representatives to respond positively and proactively to emotionally and psychologically vulnerable people on and around the Metrolink network. Our mission was to improve network accessibility, whilst reducing trespass, anti-social behaviour, aggression and assaults and minimising service disruption, recognising the impact that all of this has on the mental health and wellbeing of our employees, particularly during the Coronavirus pandemic. So far, over 120 staff and managers have attended the programme and the benefits are becoming clear.
